Serious injury blow as Angel Martinez is injuried in training

Chesterfield FC have been hit with a serious injury blow as Angel Martinez is injured in training. The extent of the damage is not yet known and Angel will have a scan on the injury tomorrow. The Chesterfield team and fans alike will be hoping the injury is not as serious as first believed.

The likeable Spaniard has only played three times for the Spireites since joining on the 16th of August and the Spireites have remained unbeaten in this time. 

The Spireites will also be assessing the fitness of Lee Novak and Drew Talbot for the visit of Wigan to the Proact this Saturday, Gboly Ariyibi will already miss this fixture due to his international call up.
