Fans pay tribute to Morsy

We asked Chesterfield fans for their tributes about Sam Morsy who left Chesterfield FC for Wigan Athletic yesterday.

Jim Lowe: One of the greatest Chesterfield players I've ever seen. 100% commitment for every one of the 99 games he played for us. Wish I was watching him for another 99 but he deserves a shot at a bigger club. Super Sam Morsy. GOOD LUCK!

Michael Pearson: What a crying shame we have to say farewell to a player who gave his all every time he pulled a town shirt on. Good luck Sammy lad at Wigan and lets hope they show you more ambition than our club ever did. You have earned the right to play in a higher division and i'm sure Wigan will take you there, they have the ground, solid foundations,and a chairman who wants to be successful and take them back to where they belong.
