Chesterfield FA Cup hero returns!

Today sees the return of Chesterfield FA Cup run hero Sean Dyche to Chesterfield!

Burnley manager Sean Dyche, now 44, played 269 times for The Spireites between 1989 and 1997. Dyche featured in the team that reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup alongside such Spireite legends as Kevin Davies and Mark Williams who both went onto Premiership teams. As well as Andy Morris who was part of the youth development at Chesterfield, former kitman Tony Lormor and current Chesterfield physio Jamie Hewitt, among others.

Dyche still follows The Spireites and has kept a close eye on the Spireites progression up the football league. He has plenty of contacts and friends still in North Derbyshire and watching Chesterfield week in, week out.
