Highly rated Wales international Declan John has to join the Spireites on loan. Chesterfield manager Danny Wilson previously had John on-loan at Barnsley.

John played twenty Premier League games in the 2013-14 season for parent club Cardiff City.
Declan John has two full caps for Wales and has been capped at U17, U19 and U21 level.
