Cardiff City are the team that have met the valuation of the Spireites. The fee is rumoured to be in the region of 400k up front, then 450k over 12 months and rising if Cardiff get promoted and a 15% sell on fee.

Cardiff City boss Russell Slade has been a long time admirer of the Irish goalscorer and Slade has been given the backing to make three signings before the window closes.

BBC Sport Wales and Sky Sports News have confirmed the deal is going ahead. Doyle is currently on-route to complete a medical and agree personal terms.
