Byron Harrison
Byron Harrison is on the way up, having started his career in non league football, Harrison is making his way up the football ladder. Making a name for himself as a goalscoring striker.
When asked who his idols were growing up Harrison replied
''I was an arsenal fan, so I used to watch players like Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, those were my idols''
''In the playground you'd try to be like those guys''
Byron's journey has taken a similar path to his idol Wright. Harrison had just turned 23 when first turned professional for Stevenage Borough. Wright was three months short of his 22nd birthday when he signed his first professional contract after plying his trade non-league in London.
Harrison has had top tier admirers, he was on trial at Chelsea as a youngster and also trials for Wolverhampton Wanderers while they were a Premiership outfit. Byron has done it the hard way, playing on bad pitches, poor facilities and just playing for the love of the game.
Byron's journey is far from over and he is a raw talent, but he is also a player that possesses plenty of potential. Paul Cook will hope he can get the best from Harrison and see him reach his full potential with the Spireites.
