Eoin Doyle Update
Celtic are set to offer 1.5 million for 22 goal man Eoin Doyle. The hoops have had several scouts watching the Irishman including ones at the 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe.
It is also being reported that Rotherham have had a third bid turned away by The Spireites and another bid from Sheffield United has also been turned down. These are believed to have been cash plus player offers.
Interest from Derby and Cardiff also remains, but no bids have come to Chesterfield's valuation.
Paul Cook also hopes that star midfielder Jimmy Ryan will stay and that he will sign a new contract at Chesterfield. His injury is believed to be a small hernia and the club are hopefully Jimmy will return from injury soon.
Paul Cook is insistent that the clubs best players are not for sale. With the team flying at the moment Cook is not looking to make any changes to the playing staff.

A player who will be going out is Drew Talbot, Drew is set to go on loan after his lengthy injury with the hope that he will regain fitness playing first team football.
This Saturday is Ernie Moss day. Ernie who played 749 times in the football league and scored a massive 191 for the Spireites. Ernie will be presented to the crowd at half time, with a video on the new big screen. So please dig deep as the club will be raising funds for Dementia UK.
