Chesterfield Youth face biggest game yet


Chesterfield Youth team face yet another massive match this Saturday in the Youth Alliance North East against current league holders and title challengers Bradford City Youth.

The youth game will take place Saturday lunch time then Chesterfield first team take on Walsall at the Proact at 3pm for another important game.



Chesterfield current lead the way in the Youth Alliance North East;
















Both Chesterfield and Bradford Youth are both coming off draws in the league with Hartlepool and Notts County, leaving everything to play for in the game against Bradford.




Chesterfield Youth unfortunately find themselves out of the Midland Floodlit Cup in the semi finals going out on penalties away at Shrewsbury.

Goal 1: In the 42nd minute Jake Beesley scores a volley from a Derek Daly cross from the left. Chesterfield 0-1.


Goal 2: Chipped ball down the inside left and a low shot goes in off a defender 1-1.

Goal 3: Foul on George Milner inside the box and Jake Beesley scores the resulting penalty 1-2 to Chesterfield!

Goal 4: In the 86th minute a corner comes in from the left and it's smashed home 2-2.

The game then went onto extra time with no goals sending the game to penalties.
