International fever hits the Proact tonight as England U17s take on Slovenia U17s. The fixture takes place at 7pm with Chesterfield FC reporting over 2500 tickets have already been sold.

Tickets are £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions and season ticket holders. Tickets are available on the night.

The elite round championships take place over eight counties which are England, Spain, Azerbaijan, Holland, Poland, Russia, Hungary and Germany. The eight group winners and the seven runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their pool qualify to join hosts Bulgaria in the expanded 16-nation finals from 6–22 May 2015.

The England squad:

Goalkeepers: Paul Woolston (Newcastle United), Will Huffer (Leeds United)

Defenders: Danny Collinge (Stuttgart), Reece Oxford (West Ham United), Easah Suliman (Aston Villa), James Yates (Everton), Jay DaSilva (Chelsea), Tayo Edun (Fulham)

Midfielders: Will Patching (Manchester City), Daniel Wright (Sunderland), Tom Davies (Everton), Marcus Edwards (Tottenham), Nathan Holland (Everton), Christopher Willock (Arsenal)

Forwards: Layton Ndukwu (Leicester City), Lukas Nmecha (Manchester City), Kazaiah Sterling (Tottenham), Ike Ugbo (Chelsea)

A Spireite featuring in the tournament is Welsh U17s player Rhyle Ovenden.

Ovenden has started both games for Wales which are taking place in Krasnodar, Russia.

You can watch Ovenden's performances over the FC Krasnodar youtube channel. He has been playing as the Wales number 4.

Unfortunately the Welsh U17 team have only earned 1 point out of their first two games so will need results to go their way to qualify.

England are current holders so they will be expecting to earn full points from their group stage starting with a win tonight against Slovenia.
