Leyton Orient - A team in turmoil

Chesterfield are set to face a Leyton Orient team in reported turmoil at the Proact on Valentines day.

''The team talks are done in Italian. But in the game at Colchester last month, the players ended up doing their own team talk in the tunnel. They decided amongst themselves which opponents they would each mark at set pieces.'' reported the London Evening Standard Sport

Leyton Orient have smashed their wage structure this season with the signings of Andrea Dossena from Sundland and Jobi McAnuff who played 35 times in the Championship last campaign.

Orient also signed three strikers to add to their already strong attack in Darius Henderson from Nottingham Forest, Gianvito Plasmati from Siena in Italy and Jay Simpson who was on a reported 40,000 a week in Thailand. These three join already established strikers David Mooney, Kevin Lisbie, Chris Dagnall amd Shaun Batt.

Leyton Orient are currently featuring in their own TV Show in Italy where young Italian players are competing for a professional contract as featured on this BBC News London report.

Off the field there are reports of players demanding meetings with the manager and the players not knowing the team until 1:30 on match days. It's also alleged signings are being done without the knowledge of manager Liverani. Leyton Orient are still not to be under estimated as they clearly have a wealth of talent at their disposal.

But as club captain Ian Evatt said earlier this season:

''What a weekend away with the lads, money can't buy team spirit ! ! !''
