Mark Duffy

Mark Duffy has joined the Spireites on a months loan. The Scouser is 29 years old and plays right wing.  Duffy started his youth career at Liverpool before moving onto Wrexham. Duffy started his playing career at Vauxhall Motors before moving to Prescot Cables and then Southport in conference north.

Duffy then got his move into the football leagues with Morecambe where he remained for three seasons in league two. These performances earned the Liverpudlian a move to Championship team Scunthorpe, where he played along side current Spireite Jimmy Ryan.

Following three years at Scunthorpe Mark moved onto Championship sides Doncaster and then Birmingham. 

The Spireites have also signed young Wolves defender Ashley Carter and Sheffield Wednesday striker Caolan Lavery.
