Armand not off to India

Armand Gnanduillet won't be leaving for India.

The Ivorian striker proclaimed: ''Contrary to the information that has been circulated, I am not going to India!''

Gnanduillet (23) who is out of contract in July has been offered a new deal from Spireites manager Dean Saunders. It is unclear whether the 6 foot 4 striker will stay at Chesterfield or seek a move elsewhere.

However a former Chesterfield striker who could be off to India is Carl Lamb.

''Negotiating a contract could be off to India to play football in a few weeks Club training facilities they sent me'' said the 30 year old Liverpudlian.

Lamb has been speaking to fellow former Spireite Rommy Boco about life in India.
