Welcome back Mark Crossley!

Mark Crossley is back as goalkeeping coach at Chesterfield FC a position he left just two years ago. This is the third Chesterfield manager in a row Crossley has coached under having coached under John Sheridan and Paul Cook. He has also been caretaker manager of the Spireites.

It's also the third time that Saunders and Crossley have teamed up together. The pair first united at Nottingham Forest in the 1996/97 season when Saunders was signed for 1.5 million.

That season saw Crossley change alliances from England to Wales and represent Wales internationally which he was eligible to do so due to his Welsh grandparents.

Crossley and Saunders were in good company playing alongside the likes of Ryan Giggs, Robbie Savage, Mark Hughes and Chris Coleman.

Crossley should settle in very well having worked with Tommy Lee and Aaron Chapman a recently as 27th of April 2013. Many saw Crossley getting the very best out of first choice keeper Lee.

We wish Mark the best of success again, welcome back!
