Egyptian based football site declares interest in Spireite Sam Morsy from various Championship sides

With the league season wrapped up for many teams the transfer speculation has begun, with KingFut an Egyptian based football site declaring interest in Spireite Sam Morsy from various Championship sides.

KingFut "exclusively" revealed that "Cardiff, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United and Wigan had all made offers in January for Sam Morsy, but were hastily rejected by Chesterfield" and that the Spireites were looking "for an astronomical fee for the 23-year-old Egyptian".

Though there doesn't seem to be much substance to these rumours and with Morsy contracted to the Spireites till summer 2016, Chesterfield are unlikely to want to do a deal for their key man. It looks to be a crucial summer transfer window for the Spireites, where they will have to both secure their assets as well as trying to improve them.

It is very unlikely that the Spireites would want to sell Morsy and would rather build a side around the tough tackling, heartbeat to the Chesterfield side.

With transfer talk around the manager and players, Chesterfield will be only focused on the playoff matches against Preston North End and promotion to the Sky Bet Championship and are unlikely to be interested in any deals with these huge games ahead.

These crucial games are taking place on Thursday 7th of May at the Proact and then Sunday 10th of May at Deepdale.
