MK Dons line up

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has taken the usual step of announcing his team to face the Spireites on Friday.

The MK Dons team to face Chesterfield: 

Martin, 

Baldock, Spence, McFadzean, Lewington, 

Potter, Randall, Green, Bowditch, Powell, 

Afobe. 

Karl Robinson: ''We’ve played this game already, but if we win, we’re playing again on Tuesday before the Crawley game on the Saturday.''

''We’re trying to give the players a rest. The players are knackered.''

''We’re concentrating on the league. If we go to Crawley and lose, people will ask us why.''

''We have to make sure we get it right, we’ll try and win the game.''

This team leaves out the experienced defender Antony Kay, while important forward Will Grigg is also rested, Grigg has scored 9 times this season. 

Most interesting for the Spireites is the omission of key player Deli Alli, the midfielder has scored 10 goals from 20 games this season in League One.

The line up will see former Spireite Marc Randall take on his former team.

The game will take place at Stadium MK on Friday at 7:45.
