Good news for Spireites!

Brighton have recalled Craig Mackail-Smith from his loan spell at Peterborough, who face the Spireites on boxing day.

Mackail-Smith who joined Brighton from Peterborough in 2011 for 2.5 million rising to 3.2 million after scoring 80 goals in 185 games for the posh. Mackail Smith found himself back at Peterborough after not impressing ex-Brighton boss Sami Hyypia but has today been recalled by the Seagulls caretaker manager  Nathan Jones.

This breaks up the formidable partnership with Aaron McLean who is also back on loan with the Posh.
